DEVELOPING FERTILIZATION SYSTEM BASED ON BIOREGULATORS AND BIOSTIMULANTS
Fertilization system based on bioregulators and biostimulants developed by INTERJOSPAL
The overall objective of APPLEMED is to develop innovative and sustainable cultivation systems for the indigenous ‘Cukarinka’ apple cultivated in Croatia and its introduction from Lebanon, Egypt and Algeria. The cultivation system includes an innovative irrigation and fertilization system based on TIC/bioregulators and natural biostimulants.
The strategic objectives are: to support Mediterranean apple production, improve fruit production efficiency and sustainability, but also to contribute to the quality of the Mediterranean agri-food and value chain by supplying adapted cultivars of high nutritional value.
APPLEMED’s objectives will be achieved through 4 main building blocks:
- 1.- development of a training system
- 2.- develop irrigation based on ICT / IoT
- developing a fertilization system based on bioregulators and biostimulants.

The project consortium includes universities, SMEs, NGOs and government agencies.
